Job summary

SkinHealth Systems offers a long-term manufacturing assembler role at our Long Beach facility. The assembler will contribute to building HydraFacial platform devices, performing precise assembly of products and sub-assemblies with certified procedures, and ensuring traceability and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in manufacturing or related hands-on work.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of manufacturing, production or assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow MOPs, work instructions, and basic diagrams.

Job description

Pay Rate: $20/hr Weekly Pay + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)

Contract ( Long term and excellent postnatal to convert to permanent)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Please note: **1+ year of manufacturing, production or assembly experience (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical skills, experience using tools and hands on work, are encouraged to apply).

The Assembler is the entry point into our production team, responsible for assembling products and sub-assemblies with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. Every device leaving our Long Beach facility reflects the quality of your work. By following manufacturing operating procedures (MOPs), maintaining certified training status, and adhering to quality standards, you'll help ensure every product meets the highest level of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complete products, sub-assemblies, and kits using hand and power tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, drills, soldering stations, and other assembly equipment, while following Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs).
  • Package finished products according to established manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process while consistently meeting production goals and takt time requirements.
  • Verify part numbers, materials, components, and completed assemblies for accuracy before advancing products through production.
  • Identify, report, and communicate product defects, rejects, and non-conforming materials to the Production Lead or Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain certified training status on all assigned production lines and individual workstations, including updated revisions and work instructions.
  • Accurately document production activities to ensure traceability and compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cross-training, and production training programs.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to meet daily production objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, production and/ or assembly experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), work instructions, basic diagrams, and verbal instructions in English.
  • Experience using hand tools and/or power tools in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, track, and complete assignments accurately and on time.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and maintain quality standards.
  • Strong work ethic with the willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Work overtime or adjusted schedules when needed to support production demands.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience assembling electromechanical products or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, or other regulated quality management systems.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Onsite production-floor environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to assemble small components with precision.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and ESD protection.
  • Exposure to standard manufacturing conditions, including machinery, production equipment, assembly materials, cleaning agents, and moderate noise levels.
