Job summary

KPS Global in Piney Flats, Tennessee, is seeking an Assembler to construct fabricated parts under supervision, following established procedures and safety guidelines to meet quality and productivity standards.

You will read and interpret diagrams and blueprints, install components, operate hand and power tools, load and move materials, document processes, and maintain 5S housekeeping to support a clean, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Operate hand tools and pneumatic power tools safely.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components per diagrams.
• Wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagram.
• Inspect product to conform to quality and customer requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials with lifting equipment when available.
• Read job orders and blueprints to select and position material.
• Complete related paperwork, checklists, and shipping materials.

Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures KPS Global meets quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfies customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
• Assembling sub-assemblies and installing accessory components and materials; wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagram
• Inspecting product to conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements
• Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools
• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available
• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position material and accessory components
• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding and shipping materials
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
