Job summary

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performance tuning, and adherence to enterprise software development best practices, with hands-on work in IBM Assembler (HLASM), COBOL-CICS, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.

Qualifications

• Must be onsite 5 days a week in our Columbus, OH office.
• Strong programming skills in IBM Assembler (HLASM) — mandatory.
• Strong programming skills in COBOL-CICS — mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Working knowledge of Changeman or similar change management tools.
• Familiarity with Mainframe Utilities such as SORT and IDCAMS.
• Ability to interpret functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
