Job summary

American Augers, located in West Salem, Ohio, is a division of The Toro Company. We urgently hire individuals to assemble large construction machinery, reading blueprints and using power tools to build complex units.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to follow standard work, and experience with power tools. Diesel mechanic and electrical knowledge are considered advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.
• Experience in using power tools required.
• Must be able to read and assemble to blueprints.
• Diesel mechanic and electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large machinery and equipment with many parts.
• Bolt, screw, clip or fasten parts using hand tools (electric and pneumatic).
• Fit, align and adjust components to tight tolerances and inspect carefully.
• Perform highly diversified tasks on complex assemblies.

Urgently hiring mechanically minded individuals that love to assemble large machinery that makes a difference in the construction field.

Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday
Wage: $19/hr

What Will You Do?

Complete assembly of intricate and expensive apparatus, machines or equipment with a large number of parts, or erection of very large and complicated units. Bolting, screwing, clipping or otherwise fastening parts together using a variety of hand tools (electric and pneumatic). Considerable fitting, aligning and adjusting to very close tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Highly diversified tasks.

What Do You Need?
