Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Assembler 1 to join the Sensor Department and support the assembly and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical units. The role requires reading, speaking and writing in English and prior experience is not required beyond 1 year.

Shifts are 3rd: Sun/Mon 9pm-6am and Tue-Fri 11pm-6am, with base pay of $20/hr plus a 20% shift differential ($24/hr). Overtime is available; a $600 retention bonus is paid after 1040 hours of work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and write in English.
• 0-1 years of job‑related work experience.
• Experience with Windows‑based computers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set‑ups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
