Job summary

Magna Energy Storage Systems Group is seeking an assembler to support production of fuel tank systems and components. You will operate machines or use manual methods, following standard procedures and safety rules to meet quality targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability for evening shifts (2:50pm–11:00pm) or night shifts (10:50pm–7:00am) with potential weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet education requirements including GED or high school diploma.
• Ability to lift aluminum tanks up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Shift availability: 2:50pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri or 10:50pm-7:00am Sun-Thu incl. potential OT.

• Assembles parts by operating machines or using manual methods to meet production goals.
• Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards; reports deviations.
• Observes machine operation and verifies conformance to specs; visually inspects parts.
• Trains other employees as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembles parts by operating machines or using manual methods in a safe manner to meet production goals.
• Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reports any deviations immediately.
• Observes operation of machines and verify conformance of work piece to specifications and dimensions as well as visually inspect parts for non-conformance.
• Trains other employees as needed.

Requirements for Job Holders:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift aluminum tanks up to 50lbs
• Must be able to work 2:50pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday or 10:50pm-7:00am Sunday-Thursday. Availability to work Friday nights for 3rd shift & Saturday nights for 2nd shift.
