Job summary

The Toro Company in Wisconsin is seeking an assembly technician to join a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Starting wage is $20.53 per hour, 1st shift Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm with overtime when needed, and on-the-job training with growth potential.

You will safely assemble equipment, position components, and prepare parts for coating, while following detailed work instructions and maintaining high quality standards throughout the shift.

• Safely assemble equipment to precise specifications.
• Follow work instructions and maintain focus on the line.
• Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Fit, position, and fasten components using hand/powered tools.
• Hang and prep parts for powder coat painting.
• Load/unload parts, test and prove finished product.
• Package and ship finished product.

What Will You Do?

• Safely assemble world class equipment to precise specifications
• Fit, position, and fasten components to build machinery using a variety of hand and powered tools, presses, and hoists.
• Hang and prep parts for powder coat painting
• Select, load and unload parts from containers
• Test, run up and prove out finished product
• Package and ship finished product

Physical requirements

• Repetitive motion with hands and arms
• Standing, crouching, twisting and lifting for entire shift
• Hand eye coordination

• Work at a fast pace
• Maintain focus and follow work instructions
• Consistent attendance is critical to the team
