Great Plains Manufacturing, Land Pride division, seeks a 1st shift Assembler for its Abilene, KS facility. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

You will build and assemble parts, read prints, and use hand and power tools on the production line. Ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail, teamwork, and comfort with lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to safely read blueprints and use a tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or fasten parts by hand or with tools.
• Read prints and use a tape measure as required.
• Tend machines and use tools like impact wrenches on the assembly line.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Monitor tasks and suggest quality improvements to the assembly/shipping manager.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Assembler – 1 st Shift – Abilene, KS

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, is seeking a 1 st Shift Assembler for our facility in Abilene, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together by hand, or using hand tools or portable power tools.
• Read prints and use a tape measure as required.
• Tend machines and use tools, such as impact wrenches, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Work at different work stations as production needs require.
• Work on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line or at a fixed assembly station.
• Monitor assembly tasks and recommend quality improvement initiatives to the assembly/shipping manager.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
