Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking an Assembler for 1st Shift at our Marana, AZ site. You will execute instrument assembly and perform SAP-based transactions in a regulated manufacturing setting, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

The role requires lean/continuous improvement mindset, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and strong attention to detail. You will participate in validations, end-of-shift reporting, and ongoing process improvements while adhering to safety and audit

Responsibilities

• Assemble instruments and perform assembly tasks.

Position Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Work Location: 9831 W Tangerine Rd, Marana, AZ, 85653

Assignment Duration: 12 months

Work Schedule: 1st Shift.(6:00AM to 2:30PM, M-F)

Must be willing to work 5-10 hours of OT/week as needed.

(Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays/month if production demands require it).

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary

Executes the process of assembly of instruments. Performs basic transactions within highly complex systems and controls in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. build product, SAP transactions/confirmations).

Background & Context

Regulated manufacturing environment supporting instrument assembly with quality, safety, and continuous improvement focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executes the process of assembly of instruments
• Performs basic transactions within highly complex systems and controls in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. build product, SAP transactions/confirmations)
• Participates in the execution of protocol/validations
• Contributes to daily end of shift reports and pass downs
• Maintains Right to Operate and ensures that all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; Addresses and escalates any potentially unsafe hazards; Provides feedback during investigation of safety hazards, incidents and near misses using safety reporting tools
• Performs tasks/transactions in the quality system to ensure we achieve our quality objectives
• Understands the expectations of audit readiness (OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO, etc.); may be required to answer questions about processes on the spot
• Provides feedback on NCR investigations, reworks, and corrective actions
• Adheres to 95% or above internal training compliance
• Perform 6S activities, gathers/meets cycle times and develops/follows standard work; identifies and implements process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives utilising lean tools
• Participates and contributes in team meetings
• May participate in the collection of data for daily metrics purposes and to support operational excellence initiatives and improvements
• Proactively collaborates with peers in other shifts/functions to ensure daily targets are achieved
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualification & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement
• Experience with Google products (Gmail, Google Sheets, gDoc, etc)
• Experience with SAP
