Job summary

BD Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a production associate for night shift responsibilities. Under supervision, you will assist in the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients and related materials, following SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards, with a focus on learning operator procedures, using equipment safely, and participating in overtime when required. Interviews are in person.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 4 months of manufacturing work experience preferred.
  • Able to read, write, and understand basic English.
  • Operating skills with manufacturing equipment, tools, and pallet jack preferred.
  • Problem solving skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand basic production processes and equipment in assigned area.
  • Follow GMP and standard operating procedures.
  • Transport materials using material handling equipment safely.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.
  • Be available for overtime as needed.
  • Complete operator training per guidelines and regulatory training.

Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
  • Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
  • Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping.
  • Available for overtime as needed.
  • Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals.
  • Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
  • Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
  • Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications
