Job summary

• Follow SOPs/scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Use hand tools as needed.
• Perform basic math calculations and use measurement tools.

Job description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Assembler 1, General in Sumter, SC 29153.

Compensation

Assembler 1, General Compensation $17.00 per hour (plus $1.50 shift differential, per client details)

Contract Assignment

Assembler 1, General Highlights Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Environment

• Environment: climate controlled (VMS department)

Schedule

Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (3-2-2-3) including weekends

Physical Requirements

• No drug screening required
• Steel toe or composite toe shoes required
• Eye exam required on-site
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (required)
• Must be able to use hand tools (Allen wrench, socket wrench, screwdriver, box cutter)

OVERVIEW

You will assemble, test, and package medical devices while following SOPs, performing quality checks, and safely operating basic tools and equipment.

Assembler 1, General Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
• Set up, operate, perform minor maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line to meet specifications
• Follow SOPs/scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines
• Use hand tools (Allen wrench, socket wrench, screwdriver, box cutter) as needed
• Perform basic math calculations and use measurement tools (including microscopes, as needed)
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
• Maintain strong attention to detail and rotate to different tasks/responsibilities as assigned
• Stand/walk/sit for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work consistently and on time
