Surge in Lafayette, IN is seeking Assemblers, Kitters and Light Fabricators to join a fast-paced automotive production team. This full-time role is on a standard assembly line and requires attentiveness, safety compliance, and teamwork.

The position offers morning or afternoon shifts with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for experience growth on the line. Training provided to ensure quality and productivity in a controlled environment.

Formación

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Assembler / Kitter / Light Fabricator

Job Summary
We are hiring Assemblers, Kitters, and Light Fabricators to join an automotive manufacturing team in Lafayette, IN. This is a full-time, hands-on production position working on an assembly line. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive components according to established procedures and specifications
• Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed
• Gather, sort, and organize parts and materials for production
• Perform light fabrication and production tasks
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety rules and procedures
• Work effectively as part of a team on an assembly line

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay

• $13.50–$14.50 per hour, based on experience/assignment
