Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic and metal parts into sub-assemblies for window coverings.
• Follow step-by-step instructions as part of a lean, one-piece flow.
• Work may involve long periods of sitting or standing.
• Use tools such as hammer, pliers, hole punch, scissors, measuring tape, drill.
• Meet quality and production metrics hour by hour.
• Rotate between three assembly stations as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

What you’ll do

• Will assemble plastic and metal parts into sub-assemblies for window covering
• Will follow step by step instructions part of a one piece flow
• Will require long periods of sitting and/or standing.
• Will use various hand tools such as: Hammer, plyers, hole punchers, scissors, measuring tape, drill
• There will be certain quality and production metric standards that must be met hour by hour
• Rotation in between three different assembly stations may be required as needed depending on department needs
• All other duties as assigned
• This is a Second Shift Position. You must be able to work Monday - Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am NM (Additional hours may be required Fridays and Saturdays depending on order volume)

Who you are

• Have knowledge of basic mathematics to read measuring devices such as calipers and performs basic addition, subtraction of whole numbers and fraction
• Must have sufficient hand/finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination for manual and semi-automated assembly of plastic and metal pieces
• Have attention to detail
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written operational procedures to safely and efficiently perform essential functions required
• Be able to produce a quality product as well as determine any defect issue
• Must have good communication
• Have the ability to use RF Scanner and other computer systems
