Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Operator responsible for assembling parts per specifications and maintaining organized operations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience in mechanical assembly. Key duties include using hydraulic presses and ERP systems for transactions, along with maintaining equipment. Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings.
  • Operate hydraulic and manual presses.
  • Perform test procedures on assemblies as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
  • Drive forklift truck and manually move parts as needed.
  • Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
  • Train other employees and assist in other departments as needed.
  • Follow ISO procedures to prevent problems and document issues.

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years related experience and/or training

This position has manufacturing operation responsibilities for the assembly of TWG products.

  • Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and any other related controlled documents.
  • Operate hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation.
  • Perform test procedures on assemblies as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
  • Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required.
  • Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
  • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
  • Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
  • Responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.
