Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Gardiner, NY is seeking motivated assemblers to join our team. We train candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn to assemble mechanical systems and components used in scientific and pharmaceutical equipment.

You'll read drawings, use hand and power tools, install piping and brackets, and document production tasks. This is a Monday–Friday, on-site position with competitive pay and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Welding, brazing, soldering, HVAC, automotive, refrigeration, maintenance, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems, components, and subassemblies.
• Read and work from drawings, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, drills, saws, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Install and align piping, brackets, assemblies, and components.
• Perform brazing, soldering, polishing, painting, and other fabrication tasks.
• Ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
• Operate material handling equipment such as carts, forklifts, and cranes.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.

What You'll Do
