Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a DAY shift assembler in Sarasota, FL, to join our medical device manufacturing team. You’ll rotate through the assembly line, perform in-line inspections, and assist with line changes while maintaining high quality standards in a sterile production environment.

Strong dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Overtime may be required; training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
• Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
• Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
• Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Attentiveness in performing tasks.
• Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
• Ability to meet line rate expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
• At the Corporate site, if the position is on a Spanish-language line, it is preferred that the individual be Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish).
