Job summary

Schivo Medical is seeking an Assembly/Product Sorter in Plainview, NY. You will sort parts, assemble components, and perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet specifications, using a microscope where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing is a plus.
• Able to perform visual inspections and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily secondary processing of components including assembly and visual inspections.
• Follow travelers, work instructions, and blueprints to assemble components.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measuring instruments and report defects to supervisor.

Assembly/Product sorter Job Description:

Assembler/Visual Sorter sort parts, organizes, and completes visual checks on parts using a microscope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily secondary processing of components including but not limited to assembly, visual inspections, gauge inspections.

• Understand various documentations,


• Follow Travelers, work instructions, secondary operation report, and blueprints.


• Assemble components to meet the final desired standard.


• Visual inspection in accordance with acceptance criteria


• Use various measuring instruments for dimensional inspections.


• Inform supervisor of any major defects/issues with components

Skills:

• Great hand and eye coordination


• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Attention to detail and organized in general.
