Job summary

Weber Knapp Co. in New York, NY is seeking an assembler to hand-assemble products and operate light machinery using common hand tools. You will work with foremen and QA personnel to ensure quality parts and efficient production.

The role requires good productivity, basic math, and the ability to read calipers or blueprints is a plus. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work well both independently and in a team environment.

Function of Position:
  • Assemble or pack product in a production environment
  • Test or inspect product
  • Some light machining such as reaming, drilling and tapping
  • Work with Foreman, Inspection and Design personnel to insure quality parts
  • Cleaning, inventory, maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed
