Job description

Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and inspect paper machine rolls (training provided).
  • Utilize different types of measuring instruments such as micrometers, sine bars, dial indicator, gauge blocks, calipers, etc.
  • Record keeping: complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatly.
  • Operate tow motors, overhead cranes and different power tools in a safe and efficient manner (training provided).
Requirements
  • Prior assembly experience.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be at least 18+ years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to cross train and assist in other areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of different paper machine rolls, bearings, seals and other components.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Must have or willing to purchase own tools.
Schedule

6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4‑day work week)

Monday thru Thursday, Tuesday thru Friday – rotates weekly.

Weekend work when required.

Safety Boot Reimbursement.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting salary for position: $27.00‑$40.50 per hour.
