Description

Position Summary: The Assembler will assemble equipment according to specifications and drawings.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, fan assemblies, motors, pumps, piping, mount conduit, pull wire, and more according to directions.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, and builds to those specifications.
• Uses various machines, forklifts, overhead cranes and hand/power tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills And Experience

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in measuring equipment, reading, or writing.
• Ability to weld is a plus.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and performing tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds.
• Must have manual dexterity to assemble products and machines.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
