Job summary

Dethmers Manufacturing Co in the United States is seeking a reliable Assembler to accurately follow engineer prints and shop orders, ensuring product integrity and quality. You will read drawings, set up components, and document counts while maintaining safety and adherence to ISO 9000 policies.

Work is performed in the West Assembly, where teamwork, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving help meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble according to print directions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain safe work habits.
• Find, print and understand shop orders and engineers drawings.
• Conscientious of following procedures and quality expectations.
• Keep accurate counts and maintain records of produced parts.
• Mentor and train other employees as needed.
• Read and use measuring tools accurately.
• Operate hoist or crane following correct procedures.
• Complete jobs on time and consistently.
• Work as a team and be self-motivated to work independently.
• Actively seek improved methods and processes.
• Meet production goals and quality targets.
• Collaborate with customers to solve problems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues on Demco products.

Department: West Assembly

Summary: Accurately assemble quality products according to engineer’s print’s directions and shop order’s requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product’s integrity and quality.

Primary Duties:

• To assemble according to print directions
• To have safe work habits and to follow safety procedures
• Able to find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawings
• Conscientious of following procedures
• Good record keeping skills and able to keep an accurate count on product
• To mentor and train other employees
• Able to read and use measuring tools accurately
• Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
• To work as a team and be self motivated to work independently
• To actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things
• Meet reasonable production goals
• Work with customers to solve problems
• Trouble-shoot hydraulic and electrical problems on Demco products
