Total Talent Solutions in Independence, MO is hiring for an Assembler to join the manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling fiberglass products per detailed instructions, using hand and pneumatic tools, and working with resins and structural materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to drawings, specs, and instructions.
• Build fiberglass structures using fiberglass, resins, and structural materials.

• Inspect products per quality standards and record results.
• Interpret inspection results and identify quality concerns as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety policies.
• Work effectively as part of a production team to meet goals.

Location: Independence, MO

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Looking for Assembler jobs in Independence where craftsmanship and precision come together? This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with fiberglass, resins, composites, or similar materials is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality procedures and safety requirements.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a full shift and full work week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assembling products from engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Knowledge of quality inspections and documentation processes.
• Experience working in team-based manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret inspection and test results.
• Comfortable working with fiberglass materials, resins, and related chemicals.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 35 pounds.
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces and in enclosed work areas.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with fiberglass, resins, and other production materials.

Job Duties

• Assemble products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Build fiberglass structures using fiberglass, resins, and structural materials.
• Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
• Inspect products according to quality standards and procedures.Record inspection and test results as required.
• Interpret inspection results and identify quality concerns when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies.
• Work effectively as part of a production team to meet quality and production goals.
• Perform additional production, assembly, and manufacturing duties as assigned.
