Job summary

The Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled Assembler to build mission-critical components that support U.S. and allied defense. You will assemble mechanical systems per drawings, read blueprints, and safely operate hand and power tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications include 2+ years of assembly or repair experience, hydraulic schematics literacy, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should demonstrate teamwork and commitment to safety as part of a high-stakes manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience assembling or repairing complex machinery to close tolerances.
• Experience working with hydraulic equipment; ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems according to manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
• Use blueprints and drawings to devise the sequence of assembly steps.
• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including saber-saws, grinders, and magnetic-held drills.
• Install bearings and apply lubricants and grease; assess movement capabilities.
• Deburr and blend sharp edges.
• Collaborate with Quality Control personnel for testing.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.
