Job summary

Dometic is seeking an Assembler for our International Parkway facility in Elkhart, IN. The role involves cutting fabric materials and assembling final products with precision and adherence to standards.

Onsite work requires attention to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior manufacturing or assembly experience, and the ability to read work instructions and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating cutting machines and other manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for cutting fabric materials and assembling final product used in the production of our high-quality products. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to upholding our standards of excellence.

General Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and specifications.
• Operate cutting machines to accurately cut fabric materials to required dimensions.
• Inspect materials for quality and consistency, identifying any defects or discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in assembly and manufacturing as well as having acquired the following qualifications and experiences.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cutting machines and other manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams required.
