Job summary

The TECMA Group of Companies is seeking an entry to mid-level Wire Harness Assembler to join our El Paso manufacturing team. You will assemble harnesses according to diagrams and work instructions, measure and terminate wires, and ensure connections meet quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

You will use hand and crimping tools, inspect completed work for accuracy, and follow all safety procedures while coordinating with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or wire harness assembly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read basic diagrams and work instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical wire harnesses according to drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and connect wires and cables.
  • Insert wires, terminals, seals, and connectors into correct positions.
  • Use hand tools and crimping tools.
  • Inspect assemblies for proper connections, workmanship, and quality.
  • Perform basic electrical or continuity testing when required.
  • Identify and report defective materials or assembly issues.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily quality and productivity goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing and production environment. Employees may be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow established safety procedures.
