Job summary

Precision Instruments, Inc. is a long-standing manufacturer of torque tools and control systems, seeking Assemblers for our Des Plaines, IL facility. You will be trained to assemble, test, and calibrate parts to meet specifications, using hand and power tools while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Some assembly experience preferred.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanically inclined and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and specs.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble units per product specs.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as needed.
• Willing to transition to other departments for cross-training.

We are looking for Assemblers who are willing to learn, motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment for our Des Plaines, IL facility.

Job Summary:

The torque wrench assembler assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms. To be successful in this role you must be able to perform the job duties below satisfactorily with a positive attitude.

Willing to train, but some Assembly experience preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The torque wrench assembler, assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary.
• Ability to transition to other departments as needed for business needs and cross training

Job Requirements:

• Some Assembly experience, preferred
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Mechanically inclined and interests

• Must be physically capable of lifting to 25 lbs., with proper lifting technique
