Job summary

Sprayer Direct USA in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler to join the team. In this role, you will build turf and pest spraying equipment, support equipment repairs, and maintain inventory and shop cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Health benefits are available after the probation period, with a pay range of $17.00–$23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job description

Sprayer Direct USA is a manufacturer of spraying equipment and accessories for the pest control, lawn care, and de-icing industries. We are currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and hard-working Assembler to join our team.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will assist in the production of turf and pest spraying equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building spraying units, evaluating equipment repairs, and assisting with the daily service of existing equipment. This position will also support other shop duties as needed, including inventory management, shop maintenance, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assemble turf and pest spraying equipment
• Evaluate and assist with repairs and servicing of existing equipment
• Read and follow specifications and drawings
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Measure accurately and complete work to quality standards
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking and counting
• Help maintain a clean and organized shop
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Hands‑on manufacturing experience, preferably building machines or equipment
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to read specifications and drawings
• Good math skills and accurate measuring ability
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Fluent in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Welding experience is a bonus, but not required
• Forklift experience is an asset, but not required

Pay: $17.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience
