Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Consultant for AWS Professional Services (ProServe) to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet client objectives. You will work closely with customers to translate requirements into scalable architectures and guided migrations.

You will mentor teams, share best practices, and stay current with AWS services, security concerns, and industry trends while delivering high-quality results on diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cloud architecture and design of cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience integrating AWS with on‑premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, SAP).
• Experience programming in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.).
• Experience with two or more of: networking, security, storage or databases.

In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key job responsibilities

As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:

1. Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs

A day in the life

You will start your day reviewing your current engagement tasks and syncing with your team to align on priorities. Much of your time is spent building and configuring solutions in AWS, writing scripts, and testing your work to ensure it meets quality standards. You will join customer calls to present progress, ask clarifying questions, and gather requirements. Between hands-on delivery, you will document your work, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and explore new AWS services to expand your skill set.
