Job summary

Friends Select Aquatics, a USA Swimming club in Philadelphia, seeks passionate assistant coaches for Age Group and Senior Programs (ages 6-18). This part-time role mainly offers evening hours Monday–Friday 4:15–7:30pm, plus weekend practice 7:00am–2:00pm, with travel to meets possible.

Responsibilities include developing swimmers using the established curriculum, assessing needs, planning practices, and communicating with coaches.

Qualifications

• High School/College Degree preferred.
• Coaching experience with competitive swimmers is valued.
• Willingness to obtain USA Swimming/ASCA certifications within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop swimmers using the established curriculum and core technique.
• Assess swimmers' needs and provide targeted guidance.
• Collaborate with other coaches and communicate regularly.
• Plan, prepare, and conduct team practices per curriculum.
• Attend weekend meets as required and support event operations.
