Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and proper pricing and signage.
• Manage inventory procedures including damages, markdowns and stock accuracy.
• Maintain in-stock targets through proper ordering practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Support store operations in opening/closing activities and cash handling.
