The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who will report to the Director of Golf. The role requires a credentialed PGA professional and a strong foundation in private club operations, guest service, and golf shop management.

The assistant will train under PGA guidelines and support all golf operations with a focus on member experience. The position includes duties ranging from shop operations and lesson programs to tournament management and staffing

Qualifications

• Credentialed PGA professional with private club experience.
• Aspiring to become a well-trained PGA professional.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily check-in and billing in Golf Shop.
• Supervise cart staff and starter/ranger programs.
• Manage tee time reservations.
• Assist merchandising in Golf Shop.
• Tournament management.
• Provide golf lessons and group clinics.
• Record daily sales.
• Maintain a neat Golf Shop.
• Deliver outstanding guest service to all guests, members, and visitors.
• Interview staff for responsibilities.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform compliance.
• Interact with multiple departments within the organization.
