Pet Supplies Plus 4007 in Harrison, OH is seeking a friendly Bather/Student Groomer to support the grooming salon and learn the skills needed to become a professional dog groomer. You’ll deliver exceptional, neighborly service while caring for pets and helping customers.

This role offers hands-on grooming training, a flexible schedule, and opportunities to grow into a Pet Groomer or Dog Groomer as you gain experience with our grooming tools and breed standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in animal care or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn grooming techniques and use salon equipment.
• Comfortable working with dogs and people in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, neighborly customer service to every pet and pet parent.
• Bathe, brush, dry, and assist with dog grooming services such as nail trims.
• Learn proper pet grooming techniques, tools, and breed standards.
• Support the grooming salon team and assist with daily operations.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in your care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment.
• Build relationships with neighbors by understanding their pets’ needs.
• Recommend pet products and services to support pet health and wellness.
• Assist store team members as needed during grooming downtime.
