Gold's Gym in Austin is seeking a motivated individual to start as a Personal Trainer in Training. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and grow into a certified fitness professional as part of our iconic gym brand.

During onboarding, you will shadow experienced trainers, complete the internal program, and help members reach their health and fitness goals while developing your coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Organized and reliable with an approachable attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptable coaching methods to different exercise experience levels.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for, complete, and succeed in the initial Gold's Gym certification.
• Complete the onboarding program and follow training protocols.
• Shadow experienced trainers to learn effective training techniques.
• Assist in member engagement and conduct fitness assessments.
• Actively seek feedback to improve training skills and member interactions.
• Obtain a nationally accredited personal trainer certification within 6 months of hire.
