Job summary

Bright Horizons in Nashville seeks an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with hands-on activities and curriculum delivery. You will work in person at our Nashville center, share daily milestones with families, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom in line with Bright Horizons policies.

Qualifications include 18+ with a HS diploma or GED; 1 year in child care is preferred; CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
