Job summary

Bright Horizons in Andover, MA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support infants and young children in a center setting. You will assist with hands-on activities, communicate milestones to families, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom.

Requirements include 18+ with HS diploma or GED; 1 year childcare experience preferred; CDA/AA/Bach in early education preferred. Hourly pay is $18.00–$22.40, with full- and part-time opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
