Job summary

Terry Labonte Chevrolet Collision Center is seeking an Apprentice Technician in Greensboro, NC to support the Service Technician by learning vehicle service and maintenance tasks. The role focuses on increasing knowledge, skills, and certifications to progress toward a Service Technician position.

The incumbent will assist with examinations, identify repairs, estimate costs, perform services under supervision, and document all work while adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Technical training or commensurate technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Technician with examining customer vehicles.
• Assist with identifying necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with estimating cost of repairs.
• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance under supervision.
• Document services performed.
• Learn to perform services efficiently and per dealership guidelines.
