Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company invites students to join the ASPIRE Corporate Credit Internship for Summer 2027. This paid, 11‑week rotation offers hands‑on experience evaluating customer credit, monitoring accounts, and supporting risk analysis within the Credit and Finance team in Fort Worth.

The role targets current Bachelor's students in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields with a 3.0+ GPA. Start May 17, 2027; End July 30, 2027. Housing is the intern’s responsibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review and analysis of customer credit applications and financial statements.
• Conduct research on current and prospective customers to assess credit risk.
• Monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherence.
• Support the team in preparing documentation for credit reviews and internal reporting.
• Partner with collections and sales to resolve account issues.
• Contribute to projects that enhance credit processes, systems, and reporting.

ASPIRE Internship Program - Summer 2027

Eligibility

The Ben E. Keith ASPIRE Corporate Credit Internship is open to actively enrolled students entering their senior year or who are current seniors. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must submit a resume with their application for consideration. You must apply to your preferred location and are responsible for securing housing for the internship’s duration.

Important Note: Relatives of current Ben E. Keith employees are not eligible to apply for the ASPIRE Internship.

Are you ready for a dynamic, hands‑on internship that provides real exposure to the inner workings of a leading foodservice distributor? The ASPIRE Internship Program at Ben E. Keith Foods is a paid, 11-week rotational experience designed to offer you a comprehensive understanding of our operations and the foodservice industry.

Position Summary

The Corporate Credit Intern will support the Credit and Finance team in evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring account activity, and assisting with projects related to risk assessment and receivables management. This internship provides hands‑on experience in corporate credit analysis, financial statement review, and exposure to the decision‑making process that helps safeguard company assets while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the review and analysis of customer credit applications and financial statements
• Conduct research on current and prospective customers to assess credit risk
• Help monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherence
• Support the team in preparing documentation for credit reviews and internal reporting
• Partner with collections and sales teams to resolve account issues
• Contribute to projects that enhance credit processes, systems, and reporting
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in credit, risk management, and corporate finance
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
