Asphalt Roller Operator
Location: Buffalo, WY
Salary: $28+/hr (based on experience and qualifications)
Full-time, seasonal position with overtime.
Overview
The Asphalt Roller Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Breakdown Rollers, Rubber Tire Rollers, and Finish Rollers. The position requires travel with overtime through the peak season and reports to the Foreman with no supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment preventive maintenance is performed timely, thoroughly, and correctly.
- Consistently keep equipment clean and organized to promote professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
- Make safety the main priority while working on equipment.
- Distribute, break down, compress, and give a finished surface to cooling asphalt.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- Three to five years of experience operating Asphalt Breakdown Rollers, Rubber Tire Rollers, Asphalt Finish Rollers, and within the road construction industry.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
- A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co‑workers and management.
- Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
- Overnight travel is not standard but may be required as site location moves.
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
