Job summary

Kokosing Materials, Inc. seeks an Operator to safely operate and maintain our asphalt plant and related equipment at our Ohio facilities. You will monitor production levels, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with maintenance tasks to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires willingness to work day or night shifts, including weekends, and travel as needed, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating and maintaining asphalt plant and construction equipment.
• Operate track excavators, backhoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Perform routine duties as directed by Foreman and assist with maintenance and production adjustments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate findings with co-workers and supervisors.

Join KMI and be part of a company that values safety, integrity and quality.Job Description:Operator must have the ability to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for safely operating and maintaining asphalt plant and construction equipment.Responsible for operating track excavators, back hoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts, and other pieces of equipment.Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman.Responsible for preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed.Troubleshoot, problem solve, and successfully discuss production problems with co-workers and supervisors.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of asphalt plant.Strong attention to detail.Must have the initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other responsibilities for job completion as requested.Must be willing to work day or night shift, including weekends.Must be willing to travel.Must be capable of operating the assigned machine and any other related equipment in a safe manner.Must be able to do a competent inspection of the equipment.Kokosing Materials offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, company paid life, and disability insurance.
