Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is hiring for a plant operations role at our Orlando facility. This position involves a variety of manual tasks associated with plant operations and requires adherence to all safety policies.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of heavy/civil construction experience, be able to follow verbal instructions, and demonstrate strong teamwork and reliability in a dynamic work environment. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with comprehensive benefits.

Position Summary

This position includes various manual tasks associated with the plant operations

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
• Needs the skill of active listening. This means giving full attention to what other employees are saying and taking time to understand the points being made, asking question and making sure all parties understand one and another.
• Must have the skill of interaction with others
• Keep work areas clean and neat
• Able to follow verbal instructions
• Frequent shovel use
• Can perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions
• Additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager/ Plant Superintendent/Foreman
• Help around the plant as needed this is a team, we need everybody’s help
