Job summary

Reynolds Asphalt & Construction is seeking an Asphalt Worker to perform shoveling, raking and the spreading of hot asphaltic material for road repairs and resurfacing. The role emphasizes safety and attention to quality while working on streets, highways, parking lots, and driveways.

The position requires basic physical endurance, the ability to operate hand and pneumatic tools, and compliance with safety gear and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Successful pre-employment substance abuse screen.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Shoveling
• Raking
• Use of hand and pneumatic tools
• Placing and moving barricades
• Pulverizes material of the roadbed and mechanically mixes it with asphalt, cement, lime or other stabilizing materials
• Spreads and levels the processed material
• Periodically check the texture of the processed material
• Make necessary adjustments to the material as needed
• Cleaning up job sites
• Perform other related duties as required
