Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in heavy highway construction is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform a variety of general labor duties on road construction projects or production crews, including shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, stripping and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, shoveling, vibrating, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
2. Experience working around asphalt and operating related equipment is beneficial.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools, their uses, and basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Prior construction experience is preferred.
• Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and adherence to company standards.
