Position: Heavy Highway Construction Laborer

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in heavy highway construction is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform a wide range of general labor duties on a road construction project or production crew, including but not limited to shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, stripping and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, shoveling, vibrating, and maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices.
2. Experience working around asphalt and operating equipment is beneficial.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools, their uses, and basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience is preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and uphold a positive attitude.
