Mission

Reeves Construction Company is seeking a Asphalt Laborer in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and demonstrate a commitment to safety excellence.

Main Responsibilities

1. Perform physically demanding tasks as required.
2. Follow safety policies and procedures diligently.
3. Engage in various labor activities such as shoveling, tree trimming, stake driving, pavement breaking, hole digging, operating compaction devices, and brooming debris, using appropriate tools and equipment.
4. Work may be conducted at asphalt plants, roadways, building sites, or in the office/shop facilities.

Qualifications

1. At least one year of relevant work experience.
2. Own transportation to work.
3. Ability to adhere to safety policies.
4. High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
5. Driving license preferred.

Physical Demands

The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds, physical agility, and good vision (20/40 with or without correction). The employee must be able to handle various physical tasks and maintain good hearing and vision.

Work Environment
