Asphaltech Pavement Solutions is hiring a full-time Asphalt Laborer in Cape May County, NJ for paving, concrete, and maintenance work. About the Role

As an Asphalt Laborer, you will support field crews on asphalt and concrete projects, assist with site preparation, use construction tools and equipment, and help maintain safe and productive jobsites. You will work as part of a team responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance work across a range of pavement and concrete projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with asphalt paving, patching, repair, and maintenance work
• Support concrete installation and related site tasks
• Use basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Help prepare work areas, materials, and cleanup throughout the day
• Take measurements and support layout or surface preparation as needed
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions and on active jobsites
• Follow crew direction and contribute to a strong team environment
• Maintain safe work habits and follow company safety procedures

Requirements

• Experience in asphalt and/or concrete work preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
• Experience with concrete finishing tools is a plus
• Basic math skills for measurements
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; no provisional licenses
• Strong work ethic and team-player mentality
• Commitment to safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior paving, grading, patching, or concrete crew experience
• Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn in the field

This is a full-time position serving Cape May County, NJ and nearby South Jersey markets, with work performed in active field and customer-facing environments depending on role. Candidates should be comfortable with local travel, changing conditions, and consistent, safety-focused performance.
