Job summary

Westman Atelier is seeking a freelance Makeup Artist to represent the brand in Aspen, CO, delivering high-level customer service and education in-store. You will drive sales through personalized makeup services and product demonstrations while maintaining brand standards and participating in events.

The role requires 1–2 years of beauty sales experience, travel to retailers in the region, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of beauty/skin care sales experience.
• Makeup Artistry degree or certification.
• Sephora experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to retailers within region.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and events.
• Ownership, accountability and initiative.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales goals through in-store service and events.
• Provide exceptional customer experience with makeup services and demonstrations.
• Educate customers on brand product knowledge to drive awareness and sales.
• Participate in online learning – Grooming & Procedures.
• Maintain proper hygiene guidelines when demonstrating products on clients.
• Assist with inventory practices and restocking in-store.
• Maintain VM standards and regular counter cleanliness.
• Adhere to brand and retailer image guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with leadership to keep them informed on actions and events.
• Build relationships with store personnel and category managers to support sales.
