Mapjects is seeking an experienced .NET, C# ASP Developer for a federal-position oriented role, starting in 1–4 weeks in the VA/DC area. The candidate will contribute to web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and AJAX, with emphasis on postback and AJAX lifecycles.

The right person reads existing C# code, works in a Visual Studio environment, and has hands-on experience with IIS and LINQ data processing. C# and ASP.NET proficiency is essential.

• Experience with IIS
• Understanding of both post-back and AJAX page update models and page lifecycles
• Ability to read and understand existing C# code
• Work in Visual Studio environment to read, modify, create, and debug C# code
• Understanding of the LINQ library and reading LINQ data processing including anonymous functions
