Pinch A Penny (PORT CITY POOLS INC) is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers, operate the register, and keep the store well-stocked and presentable. You will assist shoppers, process transactions, and support inventory and merchandising efforts.

The ideal candidate has customer service experience and basic cash handling skills, with a friendly, team-oriented attitude. Training and development are provided in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
• Willingness to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
