Job summary

LTC Language Solutions is seeking skilled American Sign Language interpreters for the Indianapolis area to provide in-person interpretation at diverse client sites. You will interpret in medical and community settings, ensure language access, and deliver excellent customer service.

You may select assignments and will apply a strong understanding of Deaf culture. Candidates should have 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience, a passion for language access, and adhere to the RID Code of Ethics;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ASL interpreting experience
• Passionate about providing language access
• Adherence to the RID Interpreter Code of Ethics
• Bachelor's Degree in ASL preferred
• NIC/IIC Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, in-person sign language interpretation at client locations in and around Indianapolis, IN
• Accurately interpret in medical and community settings
• Ensure language access is provided
• Provide excellent customer service
• Choose your own assignments for interpretation
• Strong understanding of sign language and Deaf culture
