Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an ASL/DHH Para to join our School Aide team in Lynnwood, WA. The role involves assisting students requiring instructional or behavioral support under the supervision of the special education department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The School Aide supports students with instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher and supervising designee.
• Provides support for students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by a health professional.
